Frequently asked questions

Does it replace all occurrences?

Yes — all instances of the search text throughout the document are replaced in a single operation.

Will the layout change after replacement?

Text is replaced inline. If the replacement text is significantly longer than the original, it may overflow the original text box.

Can I delete text instead of replacing it?

Yes — leave the replacement field blank to delete all matches of the search term.

Does it work on scanned PDFs?

No — scanned PDFs are images, not text. Use the Redact tool to black out areas of scanned documents.
